Grand Canyon, Upper Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend — redesigned for senior travelers at a pace that respects your body. No hidden fees. Full meals. Health companion on every outing.
AAEC-Designed Improvements
Every modification is based on geriatric travel research and AAEC senior care standards. Here's what we changed from the standard tour — and why.
Sleep quality declines with age. Early departures increase fatigue risk and reduce enjoyment of the entire day.
Long sitting increases deep vein thrombosis risk. We stop every 1.5–2 hours with accessible restrooms.
Lower Antelope requires climbing steep metal ladders. Upper Antelope offers the same stunning slot canyon beauty on level ground.
The original trail ends at an unguarded cliff with no safety rails. We use the railed observation platform. For those with mobility limits, a helicopter option delivers the same iconic view.
The standard tour rushes through Grand Canyon to drive 5 hours back to Vegas the same evening. We stay, so you can actually experience the canyon.
Seniors shouldn't spend vacation energy finding restaurants. Every meal is pre-arranged with dietary needs accommodated — low-salt, soft food, vegetarian on request.
Falls are the #1 cause of senior injuries. Accessible rooms are standard in our package, not an upgrade.
Your health companion monitors vital signs, manages medications, handles emergencies, and is your first point of contact for any health concern.
Standard tours advertise $498 but require $130 in mandatory fees + $60 service charge. Our price is all-in.
For guests with limited mobility, helicopter tours at both Horseshoe Bend ($199) and Grand Canyon ($339 optional) ensure no one misses the iconic views.
We recommend Cirque du Soleil (visual, no language barrier) and select shows appropriate for senior audiences. Less stress, better experience.
Lower step entry, extra legroom, ergonomic seats, and onboard first aid equipment including AED.
